A RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God and right relationships with each other are the reason for the gospel and the result of our faith.

God created us to be in a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him.

God's plan since the beginning was that we live in a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him and with each other. The story of Scripture shows us our journey through faith in Christ Jesus to lead us back to this right relaionship and eternal life. Jesus gives us gospel clarity on what eternal life has always been.  To have eternal life means to know God.  At creation Adam and Eve knew God perfectly and lived in a perfect and right relationship with Him and it’s because of Jesus that we can know God again. This right relatioship with God was and is what God wants for us and is what He originally created us to live in. 

• John 17:3 “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

• Genesis 1-3 ... Demonstrates the daily life and relationship that Adam and Eve had with God. God created them perfectly and called them "very good". God provided for all of their needs in the garden. God actively interacted with them, walking and talking. There was no distance in their relationship until sin came into the picture.
